Yes. Students who have completed the AS Level year at another school or college can transfer to Sceptre’s A2 Level route as long as they are registered for or have already taken examinations of Three AS Level subjects before commencement of the A2 Level academic year.
Yes, we accept applications from candidates who have completed a minimum of eight O Level subjects privately as long as the subjects include five mandatory subjects and at least three optional subjects.
Sceptre College believes in equal opportunities. Private O Level candidates enrolled at a reputable tuition centre will be considered for admission at Sceptre College. However, the offer decision depends on a number of factors.
For admission in the A Level routes (AS Level, A2 Level and Retakes), academic records, CAIE results from Class 10 onwards, extracurricular achievements and the drive to succeed are all important factors considered when deciding to grant admission.
- All students must maintain a minimum 85% class attendance in every subject throughout the academic year. If attendance falls below 85% in any class, scholarship will be reduced by 5%.
- All students must maintain a minimum ‘C’ grade in all College assessments, including monthly tests, midterm exams and mocks. If a student attains a ‘U’ in any assessment, academic scholarship will be reduced by 10%.
- All students must comply with College rules and regulations and policies. If a student is found violating any rules or policies, scholarship will be reduced at the Management’s discretion.
- If any member of the Sceptre College community (students, parents/guardians) defames the institution verbally or through any electronic/digital means (social media platforms, text message, email, WhatsApp, etc.) scholarship will be revoked.
